Dear NCSYers,
I am excited to announce this years Camp Sports reunion! The reunion is always a highlight of my year. Having fun, seeing familiar faces, and bringing back camp memories is one of the things that keeps me going for the whole year until camp starts again in July.
The reunion will take place on Chol Hamoed Sukkos Tuesday September 24th. It will start at 3:30 pm at the Fried's house, 646 Seagirt Boulevard Far Rockaway, NY. We will play sports, followed by a barbecue, followed by special learning for Hoshana Rabba. Pickup from the Fried household at 8:45 pm. Please RSVP at rabbifried@gmail.com as soon as possible. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the Tishrei book that you received at the end of camp. Since we are in the month of Tishrei at this moment, now would be a good time to take a little peek at it. It contains enjoyable divrei torah for each day in Tishrei. Each dvar torah is short, sweet, and is relevant to that specific date in Tishrei. It is even worth it for you to read one short dvar torah about any of the holidays in Tishrei. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
